A very romantic wedding at the Vizcaya. The rich colors of the flowers were perfect for this October event. We used hydrangea, roses, cymbidium orchids, gerbera daisies, curly willow and lots of textural greenery.

An adorable wedding at the Forest Hill Lodge. An eclectic mix of colorful flowers and handmade details. The flowers used were dahlias, craspedia balls, spider mums and a variety of textural greenery. The centerpieces were arranged in my collection of milk glass vases.

The flowers at this beautiful spring wedding consisted of peonies, cornflower, roses, dahlias and herbs for the bridal bouquet. The centerpieces incorporated kale, hydrangea, berries, roses, herbs and ferns.

Natalie and Andrew were married at the Argonaut Hotel in San Francisco. Natalie was open to creative ideas for centerpieces so, needless to say, I had a great time creating her arrangements. I’d like to wish a very sincere “thank you” to my wonderful newlywed couples of 2009. It seems like the wedding season goes by in such a flash and I don’t take the appropriate measures to thank each and every couple for allowing me to participate in one of the most memorable events in their lives. So again, thank you for allowing me to design your wedding flowers and I wish you an amazing life together.
I ended up doing over 40 weddings in 2009 and it was a lot of fun. I really love how every single wedding order I work on is customized so I’m never doing anything “cookie-cutter”. I’ll be going through pictures I’ve taken this past year (I’m not a good photographer at all) and posting my favorites here. I do have some photos from professional photographers as well so I will definitely be posting those.
If you’re one of my couples with a wedding coming up in 2010 I can’t wait to get started. I’ve had some downtime this winter, which is great for re-energizing those creative juices, but I’m really excited for my upcoming events. I have some amazing projects in the near future…I can already tell 2010 is going to be awesome!
Tralee and Mike were married in Auburn on May 30, 2009. They weren’t really sure where the bird theme came from, but I have to say, it was so beautiful and subtle. It really added a natural element to the overall look of the wedding. Here are a couple pics I took myself and I’ll be adding more from the photographer, Sarah Maren, soon.
